What do we do?

With Inai’s drop-off catering services, great care is taken in preparing in-season food with respect to the process of its growth and decay. We work to utilize each part of our ingredients while delivering delicious meals to the Nashville area.

The name Inai comes from mottainai, a Japanese phrase that expresses regret at the full value of something not being put to good use. 

 

Kind of like, “what a waste!”

 

After witnessing the sheer amount of food waste produced by commercial kitchens, Sebastian was inspired by the philosophy behind the phrase. 

 

For us, Inai means minimizing waste, and maximizing the potential of in-season, locally grown ingredients
