Who are we
Born in a small town in Colombia, Sebastian was raised by two incredible women–his Grandma Doni and his Mom, Maria–whose food is the inspiration behind Inai. From them, he learned that food is, more than anything, an expression of love.
After attending Instituto Gastronómico D’Gallia in Lima, Peru, Sebastian travelled for 2 years across South America. Often hitchhiking, busking, and sleeping where he could, he found the world of food to be a combination of culture, folklore, history and heart.

Born in a small town in Northern New York, Allison’s love of food comes from a different place–in part from a love of storytelling, and in part from a years-long illness that kept her from enjoying cooking and eating. She studied writing and literature at Naropa University’s Jack Kerouac School, and has been writing stories, serving, and bartending ever since.
After 6 years of cooking in New York City, Sebastian moved to Nashville, hoping to be reinspired by food. He was–while throwing dough in Nashville's favorite pizzeria, he met Allison.
Inai is a story being written. It’s a love story between a cook and a server, and their shared love of cooking and eating. Our hope is to feed Nashville with delicious food that allows you to remember what is really at the heart of cooking.

Our primary goal is to provide excellent, in season food via drop-off catering, while minimizing waste.
